The grapes for this wine come from 40-year-old vines in the Kőhalom vineyard in Balf, a significant wine-growing village in the Fertő landscape, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. After 40 days of skin maceration, the wine was matured partly in new and partly in used oak barrels, and racked once. It was bottled after 14 months of ageing. We named the wine in honour of Keresztély Eiler, paying tribute to the planter and former cultivator of this vineyard. Alc. 14% vol.
